What it does
Target by SMS subscriber status — show different checkout content or post-purchase offers to SMS subscribers vs. non-subscribers. Show non-subscribers an incentive to opt in, or show subscribers exclusive offers.
Target by keyword tags — Postscript uses keyword tags to segment SMS subscribers. Tile reads these tags and lets you use them as targeting conditions.
Trigger SMS flows — when a customer accepts or declines a post-purchase upsell, Tile fires a custom event to Postscript for SMS automations.
Auto-tag subscribers — when a customer accepts an upsell, Tile automatically adds the 'tile-upsell-accepted' keyword tag to their Postscript profile.
How to increase AOV with Postscript
SMS subscriber-exclusive upsells
Create a post-purchase upsell targeted only to SMS subscribers. Offer a deeper discount as a reward for being subscribed — reinforcing the value of their SMS opt-in while increasing AOV.
Non-subscriber opt-in incentive
For non-subscribers, show a checkout content block: 'Subscribe to SMS and get 15% off your next order.' Target this to only appear for non-subscribers.
Upsell follow-up via SMS
When a customer accepts an upsell, build an SMS flow: 'Thanks for adding [Product]! Reply YES for a 10% off code on your next purchase.' SMS has 98% open rates — one of the highest-converting follow-up channels.
Segment upsell buyers
